Hello to all members. I'm new to this Forum, and will only be returning to angling again this year after several years away. I'm hoping to try out quite a few new venues this time round, but will also try to fish Nunroyd Pond again seeing as I live right on the doorstep.
One question on this, though: Will the pond be cleared of weed this year. Granted I'd only be a bit of a novice, and would have a lot of catching up to do, but to me it looked pretty 'unfishable' during the greater part of the last year, and it seems such a waste of a nice venue when the water seems to be, effectively, abandoned.
Apologies if I'm speaking out of line on this, but to not be able to fish there might mean I don't enroll with my local society, which is something I really wouldn't want to have to do.
