Hey Bernie - What was that stuff on the tail of the common Carp you had on the 14th?  If that is tail rot maybe Danny or the other Bailiffs should be aware?  |

I don't know really, it certainly wasn't cock snot or jizz, it was a permanent. Feature on the tail, and obviously slimey to the touch, but it didn't come off the tail, so as you said, it could be some sort of fin rot, or fungus mate. Unless that particular fish get's caught again to treat it then I'm guessing it could cost a fortune to dose the whole lake. Sometimes these things happen prior to spawning, but I'm not technical on these things. |
